Available positions in our organisation
We are in need of more team members, and we have the following positions currently available. It would be greatly appreciated if you'd want to join!
Public Realtions (PR) Lead
The PR Lead will manage and set up events, talk to possible journalists (and manage meetings with said journalists), represent the organisation when needed, and also manage PR Resources Manager
PR Resources Manager
The PR Resources Manager will handle all social media related stuff, including but not limited to: running the SM accounts, drafting future posts, drafting possible collaborations, making SM related content (e.g. taking photos at events, writing short texts for posts, etc.). As well as coordinating with the PR Lead in any task or project.
Informatics & Coding Lead
The I&C Lead will teach participants on how to use bioinformatics and cheminformatics related software, coding (python), run possible simulation on related software, etc. ((also works along with research dept.)
Bio/Chem Research
A person responsible with either biology or chemistry research will conduct research on potential competitions (e.g. iGEM, along with other members, if need comes), chemistry synthesis & experiments (for chemistry), biology procedures and experiments (for biology), and some more (also works along with info lead)

What to expect at our weekly meets
Chemistry Lab Sessions
What you'll do
- Run safe, supervised chemistry experiments alongside the lesson topics.
- Learn proper lab technique and equipment handling.
- Work in small groups with an organizer guiding each step.
All materials and safety equipment are provided on site.
Biology Demos
What you'll do
- Observe and identify real samples under the microscope.
- Connect what you see to the week's lesson on cells, genetics, or microbiology.
- Ask questions and discuss findings as a group.
No prior lab experience needed to take part.
Weekly Lessons
What you'll do
- Follow a short lecture introducing a biology, chemistry, or physics topic.
- Work through examples and questions together with the group.
- Build toward the hands-on lab or demo that follows.
Notes and slides are shared with all attendees afterward.
